1. Carbon Capture And Storage Technology: R&D Initiatives in India
CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE TECHNOLOGY: R&D Initiatives in India, a joint publication of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, and Resource Development Centre, New Delhi.
Department of Science & Technology has adopted an Inter-sectoral approach for
addressing the multi-disciplinary issues. Scientific papers on research initiatives are grouped in four sections dealing with Research Initiatives in Pre-combustion capture, Post-combustion capture, Terrestrial and Geological storage and CO2 Sequestration using EOR, ECBM and plasma technology. Research in carbon capture and storage technology in India is driven by the sustainable development needs in the use of coal as source of power and the concerns for energy security. It is multi-disciplinary research having implicit role in mining, coal cleaning, combustion, geological research and oil basin chemistry.
2. Directory of Resource Persons and Institutions
The Directory of Resource Persons & Institutions aims for dissemination of up-to-date information for gainful utilization by stakeholders in industry, business, policy analysis, consulting, and academia. The Directory develops a comprehensive and focused information system about the enlisted Resource Persons & Institutions in the areas ranging from Management, Science & Technology to Social Science and Social Work. The registered categories belong to diverse streams from entrepreneurial, technical, and scientific, management, and academics to various professional groupings. The Directory would be of benefit to managers, entrepreneurs, academics, consultants, government, industry and business.
3. EDI Update (Enterprise Development Initiative Update)
The EDI Update is a bi-monthly magazine, regularly published by our Centre for the dissemination of value added information in Energy & Power, Technology, Industry & Business, Environment, Quality, Human Resources, Information Technology, Telecommunication, and Finance & Investment. It is a professional magazine and the leading subscribers are institutes, universities, and industrial & business organization.
4. Self Help Groups & Income Generation Activities in Haryana: An Overview
Self Help Groups & Income Generation Activities in Haryana: An Overview reflects our experience of ongoing JBIC Project: Integrated Natural Resource Management and Poverty Reduction in Haryana with a broader objective aimed at micro level institution building in the form of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Income Generating Activities (IGAs) for alleviating poverty, social and economic empowerment.
5. Proceedings NCR-PROBE Programme
The Proceedings NCR-PROBE Programme is a joint publication of RDC and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Department of Science and Technology (DST) under its Inter-Sectoral Science and Technology Advisory Committee (IS-STAC) has taken an initiative to launch a scheme on participation of youth in schools in acquisition, generation, use and dissemination of field data. Under the scheme, a programme entitled Participation of youth in Real-time / field Observation to Benefit Education (PROBE) has been conceived for the National Capital Region (NCR) and the programme is named as NCR-PROBE.
The present publication contains views, remarks and papers of eminent scientists, academics and policy makers in the areas of meteorology and environmental education. The note worthies are: Shri Kapil Sibal, Prof V.S. Ramamurthy, Dr (Mrs) Malti Goel, Prof S.K. Dash, Dr B. Lal, Air Vice Marshal Ajit Tyagi.
