Overview

RDC has been providing Technology information services to UNAPCTT in the areas of:

• Technology Transfer & Management
• Food Processing
• Non-Conventional Energy
• Waste Technology
• Ozone Layer Protection

This ongoing information service is being fully supported by the United Nations Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology, New Delhi, since May 1999.

The essential features of the work include:

• Monitoring of technological developments including research and development (R&D), inventions and innovations
• Monitoring of technology transfer, management, trade and intellectual property rights (IPR) issues
• Commercialization of R&D and inventions
• Promotion of environmentally sound technology (EST) transfer
• Dissemination of technological information
• "Query Response Service" on Montreal Protocol issues for industries
